For a fun-filled day out by the sea, visit the bustling harbour town of Ilfracombe (8 miles), where Damien Hirst’s Verity statue, boat trips from the harbour, arcades and seaside thrills and spills await.

The master king-size room is accessed via its own staircase. It is a cosy sanctuary with a pitched ceiling, stunning oak beams, and a Smart TV. Another king-size bedroom and a tranquil room with three single beds are reached via the second staircase. A stylish walk-in shower with a WC completes the first floor.
Outside, the pretty garden is tucked away within the former chapel walls which are adorned with pretty lights to enhance the evening atmosphere. Alongside the wall, the patio is set with comfortable garden furniture for dining and relaxing outdoors. Fire up the charcoal BBQ, pizza oven and fire pit, and enjoy a leisurely swing in the hammock on the lawn while dinner sizzles away.
