Alternatively, head into Penrith (5 miles) to wander through the mighty medieval ruins of Penrith Castle and learn all about the town's history at the Eden Museum. Or head off to Glenridding (8 miles) to relax by the lake, or tackle the trek to Aira Force waterfall – a magnificent cascade of water plunging 65 feet through a rocky ravine. Lake Ullswater and villiage pubs, resturants tea rooms are within a 5 minute walk. The Steamer is with in a 10 minute walk. There is also easy walking distance to fells.

Completing the layout, you’ll find a stylish family bathroom with a bath with a shower over it.
Access the enclosed rear garden through the French doors from the dining room, and you’ll find a secluded patio area with views towards the Lakeland fells – an exceptionally pretty spot where you can share al fresco meals with your loved ones and a perfect place for dogs and kids to play.
